A native of Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, she has dedicated her youth to social welfare in religious communities, serving those most in need. She completed higher education in education, working as a teacher, and then earned a doctorate in medicine from the Universidad del Este in the Dominican Republic. In addition to specializing in family medicine, she served as the social security coordinator in the southern region, coordinating activities and overseeing implementation in the same area. In New York City, she completed higher education at Long Island University, earning an Associate's degree in Medical Coding, and then a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Medgar Evers College. Dr. Lourdes continues her religious studies, earning a Master's degree in Theology from UNPI University. She is currently pursuing her second master's degree at California Christian University, located in the Brooklyn Extension.
With the intention of serving the community, she has trained and continues to train to fulfill her devotion to restoring women who have suffered domestic violence, contributing to reducing the actions that cause physical, sexual, and psychological harm or suffering to members of the smallest nucleus of society: the family. Attached to her philosophy of life, which states the following: "Every human being has the right to live a healthy and productive life. No one should be subjected to suffering from any type of domestic abuse, and if this occurs, it is time to stop and embrace a new life full of peace and success."
